One of the things I do in my job is write contracts.  Ron takes notes during the consultation about the cake design, what flavors the clients choose and any other bits of info that needs to be on the contract.  When the client calls to let us know they want to use our services, I take the notes out, write the contract, Ron approves it and then I send it to the client.

Sometimes there is a little hiccup in this process.  The hiccup being that I can’t read Ron’s handwriting.  It’s a big joke between us.  When he is in the production room making flowers and hears my heels clicking in his direction, I usually get an “Uh oh.”  I ask him what he wrote down, I get a smile and Ron says, “What?  You can’t read that?”

Well the game continues, but this time I am putting it out there for all of you to try and crack the code.  This time when I presented Ron with my latest challenge, he couldn’t even read his own handwriting.   So I’d like to know your thoughts about what he wrote down as a potential flavor for one of our clients…

Do you know what Ron wrote?

With handwriting like that, he could have been a doctor.

It says “Call the client back and say we just wanted to follow up and confirm your flavor choices.” Tricky one. You could say the “dog” ate the notes.

I hate it when that happens.

    A) Vanilla cake
    2 jam fillings
    B) Chocolate cake plus ganache
    Hazelnut plus chocolate
    Ivory Fondant.

At least that is my interpretation. I am a medical transcriptionist. He writes better than a doctor actually. Fortunately, I don’t have to read doctor’s writing, but I do have to listen to them talk. Most of them talk like they write and you’d be amazed at some of the stuff that I hear them say. LOL

I agree with this one, but I think they want hazelnut and chocolate (the plus sign can be interpreted as and).

    I’d say ;
    A) Vanilla Cake,
    two fruits
    B) Choc cake (or chic cake) + Gm
    Hazel and Chocolate
    Ivory fold or fondant.

My husband almost writes the same and also has a hard time re-reading his handwriting. 🙂
