As a small business it’s very important to network and to know the “players” in your industry. I also believe it’s important to form partnerships with various other businesses; I love being able to refer my favorite vendors and partners with confidence to our clients.
Our newest partnership is with a beautiful boutique hotel on the Upper East Side called the Plaza Athénée. This is a wonderful venue for people who are looking to have a smaller wedding. Uni Kim-Horkenbach, Director of Catering for the hotel, approached us about being a part of their unique wedding package. Should you book their services for your wedding, they will do it all for you. This package includes, event planner Christina Verge (we have worked with Christina many times and she is fantastic!), bridal makeup by Kimara Ahnert, The groom gets a shave from the Art of Shaving, a couple’s massage in the hotel’s spa and of course a wedding cake by us. They launched this new initiative last night with a fun gathering of industry professionals. The room looked beautiful, Jerry Sibal and his team did the décor and the Plaza Athénée staff was in top form and most accommodating. The food was delicious and served with a smile. Definitely a great way to go for a small intimate wedding.
